MOMENTUM plans to kick off  its ninth mentoring project in January 2013.  Are you a young professional or college woman in need of a mentor?  MOMENTUM, the premiere women's leadership organization in central Alabama, offers high level executive women mentors to young women.  The one-to- one mentoring relationship kicks off in January 2013 and will last 5-6 months.

MOMENTUM launched its 10th Leadership Class on September 12, 2012 with a luncheon featuring guest speaker Dr. Beth Schapiro, president of The Schapiro Group, a public opinion research and strategic consulting firm.  Dr. Schapiro, based in Atlanta, frequently appears in the national media as a campaign strategist and expert  on women  in politics.

MOMENTUM 2012 Graduation

MOMENTUM  will graduate its ninth class on Wednesday May 23, 2012.  Alabama Power Company will host the event.  Robin Henderson, Associate Director, Management, NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, will be the keynote speaker.  She will address the 28 graduates and guests with a talk on "Leadership That Lasts".
